Santa brought me one and I've used it a lot.  Big plus is the 11.5 stemp on the mat.  I've used it with/without the ramp (used a regular practice hole).  With the ramp, I get to practice solid full strokes in my little house.  Also, can stroke lots of putts in a short time with instant return.  Not sure I buy into the "miracle stroke" the guy talks about OR his $999.00 putter, but I will get lots of use out of this.  Another plus for me is that the hole is regulation size.

Two questions about it:

-Is there an automatic ball return?

-Does it work well atop carpeting, or is it better suited for hardwood?

I've currently got a 12' mat with 3 holes (regular, mid, and small).  It works great, but no ball return.

the cup is designed to lower to whatever level you want...

the key is to be able to roll the ball into the ole at just the right speed, so as to reach the hole, but to not roll back down the slope.... speed is key with it...

then when you put your second ball, that forces the 1st one out and also returns as well...

if your good, you'll never have to walk over to get balls...

This explains a lot:

http://www.boomgolf.com/

I'm using mine on top of my carpet (which rolls about 9.5 so it's nice to have the faster speed)  Works fine.  The ball will roll back down the ramp and towards you 5' or so even on the lowest setting.

Is it November 1, 2009 yet????

I've had one for over a year.  When using the ramp the key is to properly level the ramp so that the ball will just stay inside the hole.  I have found it to be quite beneficial as a putting aide.

An update after a few weeks of use - my lag putting has really improved.  Any of you receive yours yet?  Comments?

I got mine but only used it once.  Since I can't practice outside right now it is nice.  I'm interested how it will translate to the course.  Does anyone know if the different levels equal a certain distance?
