Meant to say I wish it wasn't 350g, just a little too heavy for me.

It seems odd that the select Lagunas don't come with the Industrial HC while the others do for the same price. Danny

i think that it is a big mistake not to sell the select lagunas with the industrial CT.
my guess is that the US released select lagunas will come with the big CT as the "stock" cover.

I like the dancing diamonds and black and Cami Co blue on the high buffs pop, really starting to favor the HB finish to the CB The vertical stamping and the Crowned Circle are very to me, surprised it has lasted this long. Way too $$$ for me; but I hope it finds a good home.

my guess is that the new shaftband is definitely on these new GSS models and CB models.....those 2 putters have all the bells and whistles so would seem like a lost opportunity not to have the new shaftband...in fact, for the money , i would require it.

These would both also come with the latest limited Purple Yen Accessories too Eddie I guess you would not be able to confirm this, but just tossing it out there for discussion

Why is it a mistake to send a select putter out with a select CT cover? The lagunas at the PGA show had SSL CT covers as well. Mat

b/c the ssl ct covers suck and are ugly.....
the industrial ct's are better-looking and on tour they are being handed out like candy with the lagunas and every other putter.
so i think that it is a better fit for this putter....
i say retire the ssl ct cover
imho

the industrial cover does look better, but that doesnt mean retire all the OTR Tour Covers, or that they suck, The SSL fits the putter much better the the Industrial, they dont match the SSLs at all. Mat

well, for the same price at the Museum site, $2400 you can buy the laguna selects with the ssl ct cover or you can buy either a newport tour select or a newport 2 tour select with an industrial ct cover.
so the "newer" laguna tour select comes with the "older " cover and the "older" newport tour selects come with the "newer" industrial CT cover??
so some tour ssl's are coming with the industrial ct...so i think that it is a mistake by the M&G to not have industrial CT's coming with the lagunas tour ssl's

I was just thinking from a cost perspective---same price---whereas the industrials are getting between 500-700 on aftermarket...the SSL not so much. Not buying the putter for the cover but........ Danny

Im guessing they are listing the covers with the putters they came on like they did at the PGA show, someone at the studio is making the call for covers, but honestly the Newports are just getting a bonus with the Industrial cover.

Who wouldnt, but if you put the Big ones on everything, the market will be flooded and they wont bring half of what they should!

it wouldn't surprise me a bit that if one asked a US distributor for a laguna tour select with industrial ct cover...that when one's putter came, it would have the industrial on it and not the ssl ct

If you order one maybe, but I dont think they will just switch it for you.

i really think that the welded neck laguna sold by the M&G yesterday for the $600 "weld" premium or $3000; really should have distinguished itself with the industrial CT cover instead of the ssl ct cover.

I tried to get an industrial with my recent Notchback order. The answer I recevied (a few times) was NO.
IMO, it's a bonus for those Selects at the M&G.

what is the preferred thing to do for someone who buys one of these tours with the new ct industrial cover? sell it and get some cash back on the putter, and then lose the cover, or keep it? pure personal preference, im just curious what I would do. not sure. i would also not see myself buying a studio select tour putter, just because the only thing distinguishing it from the otr other then maybe a welded neck is the ct stamping. im just not behind spending the extra dough on a tour putter solely for this (yet).

Does that mean that you get an industrial H/C with a CT putter if purchased from M&G?

Sometimes it says in the putter posting. The M & G was also passing out the limited purple yen covers and bags - very IMO
