biggrin Got out today and played 9 holes using my Red X (2004-2006) for the first time at River Oaks in Sandy Utah. NICE putter. Didn't take long to figure it out. The GSS insert felt great with the Titleist ProV1. Sound was on que. Was easy to stroke. The 350 grams felt about right. Can't wait to play more. Maybe tomorrow before the Super Bowl. I'm a Cameron fan. clap

Glad to hear you like it. I game a Red X myself about half the time. When the original Red X was released, Scotty said it produced some of the best sound/feel of all of his designs. IMO, it's the most underrated Cameron putter based on any criteria.

Congratulations!  I own and game a couple of them and I completely agree with your assessment.  Great putter!  Enjoy it!

I agree with your review, it's hard for me not to like this series.  I don't think I'll ever part with my Red X2 no matter what new putter I buy next. Like Hector said... it's a great putter, enjoy it!

I found a Red X 5 on TCC at the request of one of my playing partners and decided to give it a try before I turned it over to him.  On the practice green I made EVERYTHING - 50 foot bombs, the works.  It was my typical money game and once we were on the course, I couldn't make a short putt to save my life.

I loved the way the ball came off the face.  Great putter.  Glad you're loving yours.

I have 3 Red X putters. Prefer the one without the insert, just more to my liking but love it and agree very underated. I shot my lowest career round with it 67. It just feels good everytime I am over it which means a lot.

Gamed it again last Sunday before the Super Bowl on Mulligans "executive" course. Will stay in my bag for a long time. We have a break in our weather, so maybe twice again this coming weekend.  clap clap
